Nick developed a passion for working outdoors early on, starting a successful landscaping business in high school that set the course for his career. He studied horticulture at Michigan State University and gained hands-on experience in several greenhouses before becoming Head Grower at Barlow Flower Farm, a premier garden center on the New Jersey coast.
Today, Nick pairs his expertise in flower production with a strong commitment to customer success, helping others create rewarding gardening experiences. He brings that same hands-on approach to life at home as a husband and father of two, where his children can often be found alongside him in the greenhouse.

Britt is the Nursery & Events Manager at Willow Greenhouse, where she brings together her love of plants, design, and creating memorable experiences. She oversees the nursery while developing Willow’s growing events, workshops, and plant rental programs. She loves finding creative ways to make Willow feel welcoming, inspiring, and a little unexpected.

Iz came to Willow seeking a part time job during college. At that time, Iz had experience as a hobbyist grower specializing in aroids and other interior plants. Iz’s employment at the greenhouse transformed their love for plants from a mere pastime to a committed profession in horticulture. Now, Iz is responsible for the houseplant, tropical, and retail departments. They are actively working on expanding Willow’s endeavors and diversity by developing a tissue culture lab, building a plant breeding program, and widening the scope of Willow’s merchandise.

Bio coming soon!

Anna joined Willow as the Administrative Manager in June 2026 and is excited to be a part of the team. Outside of work, she loves spending time with friends and family, playing hockey, outdoor activities, and living an active lifestyle. She graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2023 with majors in Marketing and Management, so she’s grateful to have found a job that involves both her degrees and her interests!

Sophie joined the Willow Greenhouse team after earning a degree in Biology from Central Michigan University, with a focus on Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation, as well as Geology. Prior to Willow, she contributed to research on drought effects in maize and sorghum, as well as monarch butterfly migration patterns influenced by photoperiods. She loves plants and has worked in the horticulture industry for over 7 years. At Willow, Sophie leads our social media efforts and plays a key role in planning our marketing strategies.

Midnight came to us as a stray, and shortly after arriving, we discovered she was expecting a litter of kittens! Two of her babies went home with Nick, our owner, another went home with a former Willow employee, and one little guy decided Willow was exactly where he belonged. That kitten, now known as Twinkletoes, stayed here with his mama and has been keeping her company ever since. Together, they spend their days patrolling the greenhouse, chasing the occasional mouse, supervising staff, and finding the best sunny spots for naps.
